WEDDING VENUE PRICING

Pricing for Houchins is made up of two elements – the barn/venue hire and accommodation hire.

Our 2025 venue hire charge varies from just £2,500 to £7,350 depending on the day of the week and time of the year. Accommodation for up to 16 people in 2025 is £1,450 per night. All prices are inclusive of VAT. Please see below for details.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Houchins is for a maximum of 16 people. The farmhouse sleeps 14 guests in great comfort.
The Honeymoon Lodge, adjacent to the house offers couples a luxurious sanctuary in which to celebrate their wedding night

All prices inc VAT at 20%
The payment process of four equal instalments is designed to ease your cash flow leading up to your wedding day
An initial booking fee of 25% of your agreed contract hire price inc. VAT confirms your chosen date at Houchins
Two further interim payments of 25% are due at equal intervals leading up to your wedding date
The outstanding final balance of 25% is due 4 weeks before the event (after the Final Planning meeting)

Houchins is located in Essex, just 1 mile east of Coggeshall, with direct access from the A120. It is approximately 15 minutes from Colchester and Braintree.
